The article Syria, along with other pages relating to the Syrian Civil War and ISIL, is designated by the community as a contentious topic. The current restrictions are:

The contentious topics procedure applies to this article. This article is related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, which is a contentious topic. Furthermore, the following rules apply when editing this article:

I intentionally only used the citation of the news article mentioning the suspension of the Constitution and the People's Assembly for verifiability purposes about the two aforementioned subjects. Description of suggested change:
The current coat of arms shown in the syrian wikipedia seems to be wrong, currently the new government uses a different but similar coat of flag seen below.

Not done: We don't always rely on the UN. If we replace the current estimate and replace it with 25,000,000, it would also make people think that Syria has exactly 25 million people.
